A warrior wields
a sword and a writer wields a pen but Kavitha Gopalakrishnan wields a quilling
tool. Along with her sister, she has managed to turn her passion for making
jewellery from paper into a viable business with her start up, Kavin
Accessories. Whether you would like traditional looking ear drops or a trendy
little chain, Kavitha is the girl to go to. What makes
Kavin Accessories such a great choice is the fact that all their products are
eco-friendly. Her collection has become so famous that she now ships them all
over the world to wherever her clients need them to be delivered. 
She
was a student at KCG College of Technology in the Aeronautical department
between 2010 and 2014. Being a lover of art, handmade articles were her choice
of gifts for her friends. She enjoyed turning waste materials, things other
people would reject into beautiful pieces of art. So, it really was no wonder
that she loved the idea of paper quilling. She has even set up stalls at the
college’s annual bazar and seen great success.
Currently,
Kavitha is also conducting classes for those who would like to learn the art of
quilling.
