The Placement & Training Cell has a multifaceted function. The sole definition broadly includes

• Training & Personality Development by eminent Professionals / Companies.
  
• Industry Institute interaction to formalize joint working with industries through MoUs. Under an MoU with Infosys Technologies Ltd., "Campus Connect" program is being conducted.
  
• Placement through College campus/jointly with Hindustan University / Off campus through CUIC of Anna University.
  
• Entrepreneurship Development Programs to encourage the students to become job providers instead of job seekers.
  
• Guidance for higher studies by organizing seminars by reputed companies engaged in educational services like test preparation, counselling on admission, scholarships & visa formalities, etc.

More than 70% of the students have been placed in leading companies like Cognizant Technologies, Wipro, L&T Infotech, i-flex, Syntel, Virtusa, Eigi Equipment, Vizual Business tools, Dexterity Business Analysis, AIG Systems, US Technologies, Keane (I) Ltd., FL Smidth, and Fidelity.
The students are trained in aptitude and soft skills both by the college faculty and by professionals from training institutions of repute.
